About Me
I'm a full-stack software engineer with a background as a classicaly trained musicain.
Before discovering my interest in code, I freelanced as a trumpet player in the DFW and Austin area,
as well as taught private lessons for the past five years. I enjoyed playing
a variety of music as well as writing and arranging music on the side. My curiosity to learn new
skills
led me to discover the world of software engineering. I was hooked right away and developed a passion and
interest
for coding. Night after night, I found myself teaching myself the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Being able to experience the thrill of learning something new for the first was
exciting
and kept me wanting to learn more and more. Soon after,
I made the decision to pivot my career into software engineering so that I could turn my newfound passion
into a career of building, breaking, and learning.
As I continue to learn and build with code, I hope to one day
to
work on interesting and exciting projects that significantly impact people's lives and maybe even involve
music!
I've recently wrapped up a 16-week, full-stack engineering program at Rithm School. I've gained
valuable
experience, met and worked with incredible engineers, and built awesome projects. I am currently looking
for job opportunities
and hope one day to have an impact on the world and build cool software.
